The exact sample came from Herbie Mann’s version of the song played at 45 RPM instead of 33.
There is also a repeating sample taken from Malcolm McLaren’s song Buffalo Gals.
There have been multiple hip-hop remixes of this song, featuring Snoop Dogg and The Pharcyde.
I remixed it with a different drum pattern and other instruments. For the synths I used a Prophet 6. The result gives off an electro dub house rhythm.
